ABOUT US
In 2021, while working as a Labor and Delivery Room nurse in Irving, Becky met a young pregnant woman who came to the hospital alone. In that critical moment, not a single person from her life showed up for her. That experience stayed with Becky and sparked a vision. In 2022, Becky co-founded Love Is: A Ministry for Teen Parents and became a 501(c)3 in 2023.
Today we are serving 22 teen moms in the Irving area. Each of these young women weighs heavily on our hearts. We worry for them, cheer for them, and love them! They are doing the incredibly hard and important work of raising the next generation- yet they are so often forgotten, overlooked, or rejected.
At Love Is, we are here to change that. Through mentorship, community, and local resources, we walk alongside teen parents, ensuring they never have to face parenthood alone. Because love is more than a word- it’s action, presence, and unwavering support.
Our Mission
To embody Jesus’s love to vulnerable teen parents by providing mentorship and resources that empower teens in a healthy, safe space so they can flourish with dignity, hope, and faith.

A nurturing community where every teen parent feels loved, supported, and empowered through Christ and supported by mentors who encourage and uplift them.
